Nepal local health system budgeting and planning process: Insights from a Learning Site in Nepal – a poster

Aney Rijal from HERD International presented this poster at the 11th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists in Nepal in April 2025. It is based on work conducted at our Learning Site in Kapilvastu District, Nepal and seeks to understand the process and capacity of the local health system for annual planning. It sought to identify the stressors and enablers for health budget prioritization at the local level and to assess the change in budget allocation based on technical support provided in three-consecutive years.
