Climate resilience in health systems – Evidence from selected local levels in Nepal – a poster
Bharat Bhatta from HERD International spoke at the 11th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists in Nepal in April 2025. He presented a poster from a study which explored the policy context and local stakeholders’ understanding of climate change and health in the context of climate resilient health systems.
Nepal ranks as one of the highly climate vulnerable countries, and its health systems serve as a main line of defence for emerging climate-related health threats. The country has initiated key policy responses to climate change, with local governments’ capacity and understanding on climate crisis and health vital.
